Information We Collect
When you create an account, we collect your name, email, and (optionally) phone number, along with a securely hashed password. When you place an order, whether or not you have an account, we collect your shipping address, order details (kit, size, name/number customization), and, if you choose to upload one, a proof-of-payment screenshot. Our servers also log standard technical information like IP address and browser type for security and troubleshooting purposes.
How We Use It
Your information is used to create and manage your account, fulfill and confirm orders, respond to support requests, and send transactional emails such as order confirmations, status updates, and password reset links. We do not sell your information to third parties.
Cookies & Local Storage
We use your browser's local storage, not third-party tracking cookies, to keep your cart contents and sign-in session active between visits. This data stays on your device and is used only to make the site work; we don't use it for advertising or cross-site tracking.
Payments
Payment is sent directly through Zelle or PayPal, outside our systems. We do not store your banking or PayPal login credentials. If you upload a proof-of-payment screenshot, we store the image itself to verify your order; please crop out any sensitive account details you don't want us to see beyond what's needed to confirm payment.
Data Retention
Order and account records are kept for as long as needed to handle fulfillment, support requests, and legal obligations. You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time, subject to records we're required to keep for legal or accounting purposes.
Your Rights
You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information at any time by contacting us. If you have an account, you can also sign in to view your order history directly.
Children's Privacy
Bettor's Guide is not directed at children, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we'll remove it.
International Users
We ship worldwide, and your information may be processed and stored in the United States regardless of where you place your order from.
